The latest and most fast-paced project : Le Motion Lab website
Yep, from the 22d to the 24th of April 2024, I had the occasion to work with Le Motion Lab (an association teaching and welcoming stop motion experts) on their website that had ... well it didn't give them the professional look they wished for, at the time it was a single page with almost no content other than a few images and a small explanation of their services.
The major problem for their website was that there was no architecture, being pages dedicated to each service or a title and paragraphs system. Which also deducted points to their SEO strategy.
What shocked me the most was that the association is very proud of their Studio and ecological engagements but ... there's barely any mention of them.
So here we are, redoing this to boost the association image !
The new architecture
The results

Hero section with a showreel as background

Information on the next workshop or courses with a layout recalling their keyframes descriptions

Hand drawn items to bring out the creative aspect of Motion Lab

Unfortunately, the short timing didn't allow me for any testing. I also had to skip digital wireframes and go from paper to UI directly which was, thankfully, made easier by the design guidelines.
You'll notice that the overall structure of the pages is a simple hero section and alternation of images and text. The reasons are simple too:
1. the association wished to update their website on their own, wishing for little to no investments on it
2. the level of personalization and complexity is dictated by the WordPress theme they'll chose to use
