A little Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V of what we were given to work with:
The context: "Following the newsletter TechTrash success, the editorial company Courriel has decided to produce a new newsletter. 'Sandal's' will talk about the world of fashion in a quirky way. It'll be addressed to both professionals and lovers of styling and fast-fashion, the newsletter will treat of the fashion industry with humour and irreverence" (traduced from French)
The missions : "You are asked to finalize the graphic identity of this new publication. By finishing the logo first, choosing a hook phrase to write under it, then determining the colour range and typographies needed. You are then asked to create a small icon set that can be used to illustrate each of the 4 sections of the first edition of this publication. And finally to make a mock up of this first edition" (traduced from French)
My solution:
- Flashy colours
- Big and attention-seeking pictograms for each section
- wonky alignments to hurt the eyes
